Pattern Name: Log Cabin
 Age: 1920s-1930s
Quilting: Utility Quilted
Material: red and blue calico cottons and feed sacks
Measurements: 84”x84”

Heritage: This quilt was found by a vintage slinging friend of mine and its history is quite lost. It is a pristine log cabin quilt with the most beautiful cotton calicos and shirtings throughout the piece. It is backed with feed sacks. It is a fantastic example of the light/dark shading pattern of the log cabin style. You will notice a darker square surrounded by a lighter square.

Condition: Overall the piece is in excellent condition. It is so very soft and the colors vibrant and sure. There are a few stray dark spots here and there but nothing overly noticeable. There are some signs of wear characteristic with the textile's age, but overall a truly lovely and exquisite piece.
