Heritage: This quilt was found in Pennsylvania. This quilt is characteristic of the beautiful red and white patterened quiltes that were popular between 1875 and 1925. This quilt has a beautiful later Turkey red cotton calico (dyed with alazarin). The topper dates to the 1920s, but was finished later with a plain red cotton.
Condition: This quilt is absolutely perfect and has many years left as the beautiful work of art that it is.
